I will 2nd that...
Having a rare "open Saturday" I was invited to 2nd shoot for a good friend and owner of Spark Photography, it was refreshing to be free from the primary roll and I look forward to doing more of this... maybe I will start 2nd shooting my own events ;)
La Jolla Rooftop
It was a beautiful day for Karen & Shawn's wedding, sun was shining and no need far a sweater. The rooftop at the La Jolla Cove Suites was beautifully decorated with florals from Embellishmint. Ceremony when off without a hitch thanks to Kate's assistance. A ten minute escape to the waters edge for a few sunset photos then dancing till well into the night... another day at the office :)

Nothing better than spending an afternoon with a couple in love... except for the 42 questions from the not quite all there trolly passenger. It would have made for a great video except my assistant that could have been recording it was hiding behind a column (thanks Red).

First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage...
I can remember the dating, the proposal, the engagement, the wedding and now... baby Jack. It is such a wonderful thing to be part of all of the special moments in a couples life :)
the Trifecta
There are all kinds of small coincidences that pop up in a wedding, Brides with the same first name as their new mother-in-law. Sometimes it will be a larger coincidence like first and middle names the same and then there is Emily & Michael they had the good chance of sharing their parents wedding date... not just with the brides parents but the grooms parents as well.
It is a unique thing that the date fell on a summer saturday to boot. I have no idea what the odds are but you would probably be more likely to win the lotto or get struck by lightning.
